About Me

I will be a senior at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. I am majoring in Creative Writing and minoring in Elementary Education. My ultimate hope and dream after school is to become a teacher in an elementary school for first through third graders. I loved working with kids ever since I was little. I cherish the time I spend with my nieces and nephews and 95% of the time would rather spend time in a classroom in an elementary school than my college level classes. Kids are my fuel when I am having a bad day and a blast of energy when I need a pick-me-up.

Originally, this blog was going to be all about lessons we can learn from life, but as I have added more posts and gained more inspirations, the topics I write about range from lessons to general happenings in my life. While I know it might seem to be off-topic, the way I have started thinking about life is that every moment is a teaching moment. We can learn something from everything we do. This thought process has helped me get through these past three years in college and has helped inspire me to reach for the stars when it comes to getting involved on campus.

My numerous applications to organizations and clubs on campus has paid off – I will be on the board of four different groups this coming year, my senior year, and I could not be more excited. I’m sure there will be moments when I struggle with all the commitments, and I’m sure they will make it onto my blog. This blog has become a way for me to document my journey through life, I hope you enjoy it and tag along with me, it will be a wild and overwhelming ride – from my senior year, to job searches, to graduate school applications, to working life, this blog will show it all.
